Easter Sunday Masses in the church are at 9:30 am and 11:00 am. The Mass for families and children is at 9:30 am in the Parish Hall. The Easter Egg Hunt follows after the 9:30 am Mass at 10:45 am in the St. Joseph of Cupertino School field. There will be food truck, games and prizes and free face painting, balloon twisters, and magic bubbles. Everyone is invited to come.
Today, March 25, marks the beginning of the Holy Week. Taizé Prayer Service is on Holy Wednesday, March 27 in the church from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. This is an evening of prayer, scripture reading, and repetitive chants under a candlelight environment. The Evening's Mass of the Lord Supper is on Holy Thursday, March 28 from 7:00 pm to about 8:30 pm. The Blessed Sacrament will be transferred to the Altar of Repose in the Fr. Greg Ng Kimm Community Center for adoration from about 8:30 pm until midnight. The Seven Last Words is on Good Friday, March 29 from 12:30 to 2:30 pm in the Fr. Greg Ng Kimm Community Center. William King, a Catholic lay evangelist from the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, will do the reflections. This is followed by Good Friday Service of the Lord's Passion at 3:00 pm. Confessions are available after the service. Easter Vigil begins at 8:00 pm. Three candidates will be accepted into the Catholic Church and will receive for the first time the three Sacraments of Initiation--the Sacrament of Baptism, Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist, and the Sacrament of Confirmation.
There will not be any Confession service, and Exposition and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament tomorrow evening, Tuesday, March 12, at 7:00 pm. It will resume next Tuesday, March 19.
