There will be a gathering of ministers on Saturday, October 19th, from 10:30 a.m. through 12:30 p.m. The procedures and protocols for each liturgical ministry will be reviewed to ensure that all ministers are on the same page. The Pastoral Plan of the Diocese will also be rolled out, particularly its mandate on evangelization to make every Parish a welcoming community, and how liturgical ministers can support this effort. Parishioners who feel moved to explore being a liturgical minister are invited to come to the gathering to learn more about who a liturgical minister is and how his or her call to be a steward of his or her gift flows from and directed to the Eucharist. Registration is available in the parish website.
There will be a Christmas Night Market from December 13th through December 14th. The Parish is now accepting applications to join the Night Market. A sales permit from the County is required to apply. Each vendor can apply for a maximum of 2 spaces. Each space is 96" x 17". Awarding of space locations is on a first-come, first-served basis. Donation is $50.00/space/day.
The Parish will have the St. Joseph of Cupertino Parish Filipino Heritage Night on December 8th. This is a fundraising event to help the Parish in its effort to continue its evangelization mission. The Golden Warrior will take on the Minnesota Wolves at the Chase Center. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. Each ticket purchased through this offer will include a commemorative Filipino Heritage T-Shirt. A special event voucher is required to redeem. Details will follow. Tickets for this offer is limited.
