Masking at parish or diocesan worship or other gatherings at parish offices (guidelines for school worship or gatherings are different)
Anyone who prefers to wear a mask may continue to do so.
Outdoors - Masks are not required for anyone.
Indoors – Masks are recommended for those who are immunocompromised. Compliance will be on the honor system except for employees and clergy.
Liturgical & Eucharistic ministers, out of an abundance of caution and respect for human life, are strongly enouraged to wear a mask when they are carrying out their ministry less than six (6) feet from another person.
Doors and windows are to stay open to allow for maximum ventilation during indoor Masses and gatherings.
Required signage includes asking anyone who has symptoms or has been exposed not to attend and asking those who are unvaccinated to wear masks.
Food at gatherings - Avoid using self-serve options. Preferable options include designating someone to serve attendees or offering individually packaged food.
School - School Guidance from county and state public health regarding masking and testing has not changed.
Catechetical and Youth Ministry - Guidelines for catechetical and youth ministry will follow the guidelines for schools
