St. Joseph of Cupertino Altar Server Ministry is a group of young people who assist the priests on Sundays, Holy Days, funerals, weddings, and other celebrations at the Church, including school Masses. Participation in this ministry is a special privilege that requires reverence, teamwork, prayer, commitment, responsibility, efforts, and a willingness to serve must include, not just the altar servers, but also their parents.
Altar Servers are in 5 grades or higher. Those interested in being an Altar Server can fill out forms below and summit or drop off your signed forms at the parish office.
Training for new altar servers is held every 2-3 months. Notifications will be sent out through the church bulletin and Flocktnote. To ensure training quality, only 8-10 new servers will be trained at a time.
If you would like to be added to the altar server training list, please email Fr. Mendie Nguyen at frmendie@stjosephcupertino.org
