The Social Justice Group has the parish Lenten project "Give the Gift of Reading" beginning March 1, 2022 and extending through early Holy Week. This project will help the children in an after-school program launched by the Catholic Charity IN 2003 called Communities Organizing Resources to Advance Learning (CORAL).

On February 8, 2022, Bishop Cantú issues a letter informing all the faithful in the Diocese that effective March 6, 2022, the First Sunday of Lent, the dispensation of the Sunday and Holy Day obligation will conclude for all Catholics within the Diocese of San José. The faithful who are healthy and without significant risk factors or other serious reasons should fulfill these obligations joyfully and conscientiously, continuing to abide by safety protocols.
